Connect with fellow IBF members through shared exploration and discussion. This workshop offers a chance to delve into a fascinating
intersection of art and mindfulness.
Born in 1954 in Switzerland, Stan Adard has spent 30 years as a founder and innovator in the IT industry, leveraging his deep understanding of technology to forge a unique path where it converges with art and mindfulness. With a background in education and social psychology, Stan's curiosity
about the human-machine connection sparked early, leading him to become an innovator in the digital art world..
In 1986, he won the Swiss Video awards, and in 1995, his groundbreaking work brought digital dream sequences to life. But it's his "Breathing Pictures" that truly set him apart.
Stan's passion lies in exploring the power of art as a tool for mindfulness. Drawing on his own meditation practice and understanding of the significance of breath in stress reduction, he developed a unique 4-dimensional digital brush. This innovative technique imbues his art with a palpable sense of flow and breath, inviting viewers to slow down and connect with their inner anchor.
Stan's "Breathing
Pictures" are more than just visuals; they're experiences. They offer a gentle contrast to the frenetic pace of modern life, encouraging deeper, more conscious breathing and promoting relaxation. His work is featured in various spaces, from private clinics to corporate offices, serving as a reminder to breathe and find stillness amidst the chaos.
