In this workshop, which Sekou Ayo calls a “breathshop”, we will explore the power of the breath and how it brings us inner and outer peace.
To be our most artistic self, we want to be in balance by juggling the stressful
demands of work, play, rest, our emotions, our physical and spiritual bodies. This “breathshop” will enable you to check out your daily breathing pattern using Sekou Ayo’s signature work of “relearning how to breathe”, to see how optimally, you are breathing, which gives tremendous insight into how well you are optimally engaging in life.
We will further open up more creativity and
artistic expressions within us, using Laughter Yoga, another way to breathe; toning and jibberish to open our voices; and be introduced to breathology embodiment (movement) techniques that will help wake us up in the morning, manage our stressors during the day, and help us go to sleep at night.
