What’s it about?
In this session, Tom will guide you through a series of synchronized breath and movement patterns that will entrain
your biorhythms and promote deep relaxation and rejuvenation. But this is not your average breathwork session - we will be using specially-created original music to guide your breath at a unique ratio that is scientifically proven to have a positive impact on your body and mind. By breathing in harmony with the music, we will literally breathe harmony into our bodies.
Tom's research has taken him to the forefront of breath science, where he has met, interviewed, and trained with the foremost experts and researchers in the field, including neuroscientists, Olympians, and even a Nobel Prize winner. He will share the most interesting, valuable, (and weird!) insights from his journey during the session, providing you a fresh perspective on the practice of breathwork.
What will we do?
During the session, you will be led through a series of simple, fluid movements that will naturally slow down your
breath and prepare your body for meditation. Then, you will be subtly guided to breathe smoothly with soothing tones that will help to pace your breath at the mysterious resonant rate. By breathing in and out softly and slowly, in equal amounts, your auxiliary biorhythms will begin to synchronize with your breath, entrain with each other, and become increasingly efficient at sustaining health.
You are a rhythmic being. From your heartbeat, blood pressure and brain waves, to your sleep patterns and hormone cycles, right the way down to the billions of individual molecules that make up your body, you are vibrating with life. Despite this, your breath is the only one of these oscillating cycles that you have conscious control over… But by changing your breath, you can entrain your other biorhythms for incredible health benefits.
